【Scholarship Application】106-1 Subsidized Scholarship for Outstanding Overseas Chinese Graduate Students
I. Application Criteria: (a) Outstanding overseas Chinese students studying at an NDHU graduate institute pursuant to the Regulations Regarding Study and Counseling Assistance for Overseas Chinese Students in Taiwan
(b) Enrollment at an NDHU graduate institute (excluding deferred students) and completion of a minimum of one semester (including students directly admitted to doctoral programs)
(c) Require a minimum of six credits per semester, and average academic and conduct grades of 80 or above of the previous semester
(d) Overseas Chinese students shall not be eligible to apply for subsidized scholarship if they already receive tuition subsidies, exemptions, or scholarships from the government pursuant to other regulations
II. Amount and Awarding Period: NTD 10,000/ month for each student, from August, 2017 to January, 2018
III. Application Documents: Please use a stapler to fasten the documents and hand in in the following order. (a) Application Form (Appendix 1) (b) Study Plan (Appendix 1) (c) Autobiography (Appendix 1) (d) Letter of recommendation from a department professor (Appendix 1) (e) The original copy of academic transcript of the previous semester (including class ranking) (f) Relevant service certificates awarded within one year
IV. Application Period 8:30 am〜5:00 pm, September 25 (Mon.) to September 27 (Wed.), 2017 Please submit the application documents to Office of International Affairs within the application period. Application submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
V. ‘‘NDHU Instructions for the Review of Subsidized Scholarship for Low-Income Overseas Chinese Students’’ has been amended on May 24, 2017. Please refer to the appendix 2.
