【Int'l】101-2 Internship in Taiwan After Graduate 101-2畢業生在台實習辦法

Dear all,

Do you wish to learn more about Taiwan? Are you interested in doing internship with companies in Taiwan?

If you already found your ideal company, in order to apply for an internship, you need to reach one the following requirements:

1. Can acquire your Masters or PhD degree at the end of your current semester and has no record of withdrawing or expelled from school.

2. Can acquire your bachelor’s degree at the end of your current semester, with an average of 70% or above at your academic performance, has no record of withdrawing or expelled from school. You will need a recommendation from the chair of your department.

3. Can acquire your bachelor’s degree at the end of your current semester, participated and awarded in national or international level skill or technical competitions, or have other outstanding academic performance. A proof of recommendation document is required.

The longest internship period is one year.

To apply for the internship, you need to provide the following:

1. Application form. (See attachment)

2. A copy of your NDHU Letter of admission.

3. A copy of your ARC (Double-side).

4. A copy of your academic transcript. If you don’t have the academic record for this semester yet, please provide the academic transcript up to your previous semester.

5. Internship permits form, signed by Internship Company. (See attachment, in Traditional Chinese text)

6. A proof of company qualifies the standard to apply for an internship (check Article 5 in the regulation for details). These companies must reach one of the following standards:

a) For enterprises, company registration certificates or business registration certificates, photocopies of the annual profit-seeking enterprise income tax returns for the most recent year or procurement records and other related photocopies shall be submitted. But if the internship organizations are Taiwan offices of newly-established enterprises or financial service industries, photocopies of the annual profit-seeking enterprise income tax returns for the most recent year can be exempted.

b) For juridical persons charged by competent authorities of each industry, photocopies of proof of legal establishment, articles of incorporation and other related photocopies shall be submitted.

c) For foreign chambers of commerce, formal invitations from the chambers shall be submitted.

d) For enterprises or juridical persons that provide college students with off-campus internship programs or have signed industry-academy cooperation contracts, photocopies of internship or industry-academy cooperation contracts and other related photocopies shall be submitted.

7. Supplemental documents if required.

Note2: In article 7 it states the maximum duration of internship for foreign students is six months, it is now extended to one year after the regulation being amended on 2012/11/23.

5. 同意畢業外國學生實習證明書（由實習機構簽名）

6. 實習機構相關證明文件（請參閱實習辦法第五條）

7. 學士級畢業生需提供其它證明文件（請參閱申請表）
