Join our International Week on 6/3 to 6/7

Dear all:

International Week is coming to NDHU again! OIA is inviting all international students and oversea Chinese students to join the new International Week event. The theme this time is “culture”; the culture will be present in the form of exhibition and performance. We need your help to make this event abundant and wonderful like the last one. If you wish to help and share your culture to the students of NDHU, this is how to do:

1. You may submit painted material to do an introduction about the culture of your country or your ethnic group. Pictures and objects are especially welcomed.
2. You may also consider doing a performance that best represents your culture, wearing ethnic clothing or traditional clothing from your culture will be a plus; you will be present on June 3^rd at the opening ceremony.

OIA will again provide the full resources to support you, so all you need to spend is your creativity. We will provide:

1. A stand (with a table and two chairs) and a display wall for each participating student group.
2. All painted material provided by you will be fully funded (we will do the printing so you don’t need to spend money on that).
3. OIA will give a small gift to all students who perform in the opening ceremony or wear their ethnic / traditional cloth to the exhibition.

If you are willing to participate, you may submit your print materials before May 27, please also write a very simple proposal to us if you are willing to do exhibition for the week or perform at the opening ceremony.

International Week Schedule:

Opening Ceremony: June 3 (Mon), 12:30-13:30 at the Administration Building

Exhibition: June 3 (Mon) – June 7 (Fri)

The printed material you created for this event is also very good supplemental material for you to use at the presentation on July 4^th if you are wish to join.

【歡迎參加國際週活動】

各位同學好：

國際週又到來了！國際事務處邀請全校國際學生和僑生一起來參與這次的活動。這次國際週的主題是「文化」，而您的參與可以讓這個主題更加豐富。如果您願意向東華的學生分享您的文化，可透過以下方式參與：

      1. 以視覺展示和說明的方式介紹您國家、民族的文化。能提供圖片和相關的展示物件更佳。

      2. 在6月3日的開幕式上以表演的方式介紹您國家的文化。

國際事務處將盡全力幫助各位參與活動的同學，請各位盡情發揮創意。我們將會提供：

1. 每個參與的學生組織都能獲得一桌兩椅和一面展示牆的空間。
2. 所有展示用的圖文資料印刷費用均由本處補助。
3. 每位參展或餐與表演，且穿著能代表自己國家或族群傳統服飾的同學，可以獲得小禮物。

有意願的同學請在5月27日前，將您要印刷的圖文檔送到國際事務處。如果您要在開幕時表演，也請給我們一份簡單的節目企劃以便安排時段，謝謝。

國際週活動流程：

開幕式：6月3日（一），12:30-13:30於行政大樓

靜態展：6月3日（一）至6月7日（五）

若您希望在7月4日至東華實驗小學講學，您參與國際週活動所製作的資料也可運用在講學上。
